Butazol is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with analgesic and antipyretic effects. It inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins, which act as chemical mediators of pain and inflammation. It plays an important role in inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX), an enzyme involved in the development of inflammatory, painful, and febrile responses.
Butazol is effective in relieving pain, reducing swelling and tenderness, and improving mobility in patients with rheumatic disorders. It can also be used in pregnant females.
