Conditions requiring diuresis and saluresis in dogs and cats.
Furosemide is an efficient diuretic which increases the
urinary excretion of water, sodium, chloride and potassium.
It acts primarily by affecting sodium resorption in the loop of Henle. Diuretic effects may occur within one hour after oral dosing, and peak effects within two hours.
Dose
Dogs, Cats: 1 tablet/10 kg once or twice daily at eight
hour intervals. Severe cases may require double the
stated dose
