Indications

CEPHA LAC is an intramammary suspension indicated for the control and treatment of environmental and contagious mastitis during lactation caused by: streptococci, staphylococci, aerobic and anaerobic Gram-negative bacteria sensitive to cephalexin and gentamicin. Dexamethasone is a potent synthetic glucocorticoid that reduces inflammation of the ducts, allowing for improved diffusion, relieving pain, and preventing damage from the release of endotoxins. Its oily vehicle offers excellent bioavailability and diffusion in the mammary gland, rapidly penetrating the glandular ducts and alveoli. Each syringe has a Bi-Safe cannula that offers double safety, the blunt tip and the long or short cannula.
